FREE BOOKS.

The portal to apply for Free Books, an initiative that has been promoted by Regione Toscana-Giovanisì to support families and students in their schooling, is active until May 28.

👩‍👦 Who it is aimed at
The grant is intended for secondary school students , residents of Tuscany , under 24 years of age and an ISEE not exceeding 15,800 euros, enrolled in the a. s. 2025-2026 at a public or equal secondary school based in Tuscany or in a neighboring region.
It should be noted that expenses for the book equipment adopted in Vocational Education and Training (IeFP) courses at Tuscany's Training Agencies, as well as expenses for the purchase of texts used by evening schools, CPIAs (Provincial Adult Education Centers) and prison schools are not financed through the Free Books intervention.

💶 Amount of the contribution

The financial contribution varies according to the class attended . For example, those who attend the sixth grade will receive a different amount than those who attend the fourth grade. The amounts are calculated based on average book prices in Tuscany and range from about 137 to 348 euros.

🗓 When and how to apply
Applications can be submitted online until May 28, 2025 , by logging on [ https://www.regione.toscana.it/scuola/app-LibriGratis | https://www.regione.toscana.it/scuola/app-LibriGratis ]
SPID, CIE or Health Card/CNS must be used to access the platform.

The application can be filled out:
- by the parent or guardian if the student is a minor;
- by the student himself (or his guardian) if he is an adult.

A separate application should be sent for each child .

Among the required data:
- ISEE code with DSU
- Personal and educational data of the student
- IBAN code where to receive the contribution (which must be in the name or joint name of the applicant)
