👩👦 To whom it is addressed
The grant is intended for students of secondary schools of first and second grade, residents in Tuscany, with an age less than 24 years and an ISEE no more than 15,800 euros. It is important that the student be enrolled for the school year 2025/2026 in a public or equal school located in Tuscany. It should be noted that expenses for the book equipment adopted in Professional Education and Training (IeFP) courses at Tuscany’s Training Agencies, as well as expenses for the purchase of texts used by evening schools, CPIAs (Provincial Adult Education Centers) and prison schools are not financed through the Free Books intervention.
The requirement to be enrolled in a secondary school based in Tuscany must remain until the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
💶Contribution amount.
The financial contribution varies according to the class attended. For example, those who attend the sixth grade will receive a different amount than those who attend the fourth grade. The amounts are calculated based on average book prices in Tuscany and range from 137 to 348 euros approximately.
🗓 When and how to apply
Applications can be submitted online from April 28 to May 28, 2025, by logging on to www.regione.toscana.it/librigratis.
SPID, CIE or Health Card/CNS must be used to access the platform.
The application can be filled out:
- by the parent or guardian if the student is a minor;
- by the student himself (or his guardian) if he is an adult.
A separate application should be sent for each child.
Among the required data:
- ISEE code with DSU
- Personal and educational data of the student
- IBAN code where to receive the contribution (which must be in the name or joint name of the applicant)
